Arizona Sky

Nothing compares to an Arizona sky for me. As I was driving into Arizona around sunset on the 6th of August I was absolutely mesmerized at the beauty around me. California sky is ugly and dirty. In my opinion even a sunset over the ocean cannot compare to the yellow, orange and red glow of an Arizona sunset followed by the beautiful blue and purples once the sun disappears over the horizon. It's breathtaking.

I'M HOME!

Eric and I are back in Arizona FOREVER. I'm serious. Living in California for a year makes me never want to live anywhere else then my gorgeous desert home. I know other people can't wait to leave Mesa and go but I definetly don't want to live anywhere else.

It's funny how you don't even know how much stuff you really have until you pack it all up and move it somewhere else. Our apartment was the size of someone's living room (not an exaggeration, it was tiny) and it's insane how much stuff we have! We're so happy to be back with our family and friends and in this beautiful place. Every morning I wake up so excited just because I know that I'm here to stay and that California has turned into a vacation state once more. Eric will be starting work on September 1st and I will be staring school! When Eric and I started talking about marriage he was in his junior year of college and we were talking about the future. I know that I wanted to go to school but I had no idea what I wanted to study. If this was a perfect world I would be able to sing everyday and get paid millions of dollars for it...but that's not the case. So as we were discussing what we would do we decided that while Eric finished school I would work. Since I didn't know what I wanted to study quite yet I didn't mind putting school on hold. When we got to California I started my job as a caretaker at an assisted living facility, and I just loved it. A lot of the girls I was working with were studying to be nurses and I thought that might be a good fit for me. As time went on I just became more and more sure that that was the path that I was suppose to me on. So that's what I'm going to be! An RN. :)

Settling in has proved to be quite difficult for Eric and I. There is just so much stuff! I didn't realize how many clothes I had...not like I'm going to downsize or anything. But with Eric's leg it's just kind of difficult. Rehab is going well but he's definetly not 100%...he's not even 60% to be honest but he's doing very well. I'm really proud of him for doing so well in his schooling and his physical therapy. He's just awesome. I married an awesome guy. :)

This week has been really crazy with Ryan (Eric's brother) getting married. Getting everything ready and all that has been stressful on everyone, but their reception is going to be beautiful. Ryan's fiance, Andrea, is from Guatemala, and so it was so hard to get her visa and such approved. Honestly it's really stupid how hard it is to get into this country. You kind of understand why people live illegally because it's so dang hard to get in this country. My lanta. But after some phone calls, and some nice connections we got her all approved and so everything can be set into motion. :) When you livin' right God makes things happen people! So we're very excited from them, and weddings are always fun.

Well that's basically it! It's been stressful but so worth it because I'm so in love with Arizona. Even the unbearable heat that makes you feel like you're physically melting. ;)

Come on! Isn't this gorgeous?!
