So a pretty short blog post. Small and simple things have happened this month, but just wanted to share how the Hunt's are doing. :)
Well Eric and I have been here about a month and it has been just wonderful. Eric is healing really well, and he's starting to be more active which is having a positive effect on his attitude. He's been kind of down lately just because he can't be as active as he once was. Try going 8 plus years, minus the mission years, of playing basketball almost everyday and then suddenly go to hardly being able to walk. It's been really hard for him He's also started working which he's really happy about!
Also funny side note, on Eric's second or third day of working he ran into one of my best friends from high school Justin, which was just so random! Now they work at the same place!
Well we have the apartment basically all set up. It's odd coming from our tiny one bedroom apartment in California to this two bedroom condo in AZ. Basically our second bedroom is our junk room. We have two dressers and extra chairs in there, I would love to turn it into an office/game room, but we'll see if we even get to that point. It's funny just looking into a room of clutter, knowing you need to clean and organize, but the minute you open the door you lose all motivation. But I'll get it done...hopefully!
The Hunt apartment has wifi! We can now again watch Netflix on our TV and use our computers, and game online. You never fully appreciate internet access until it's taken away from you. First world problems, I sound so dramatic, but really we're very happy. Life is good. We're excited to be back in AZ, we're grateful Eric was able to get a job so quickly, and I'm excited to start school in December. :)
Just wanted to give a quick shout out to our good friends Annie and Holden who are tying the know this weekend. We are so excited for them, plus all of us look dang good in this picture.
Also more love to our friends Stew and Bri who got married this past weekend. They took pictures in a QT so basically they are my new favorite people. Isn't this amazing!
